Matilda Bennett

Matilda joined Hannaford Turner in October 2023, having previously worked at Dentons (2016 – 2023). Matilda’s primary focus has been on asset finance with particular expertise in cross-border aviation finance and leasing transactions, typically acting for lessees, lessors and banks. Her experience includes operating lease transactions, finance leases, pre-delivery payment financings, sale and purchase transactions and novations encompassing commercial aircraft, helicopters and corporate jets. She also has experience in ECA-backed project financing. Matilda has previously completed secondments to Standard Chartered Bank’s legal department in London, and Airbus’ legal department in Toulouse.
